20 year old Dylan Reed was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and is a Multi-Instrumentalist and aspiring music business professional. Currently pursuing B.A. Music Performance (Oboe) and B.S. Marketing degrees from the University of Kansas. Learning from Matt Otto, Brandon Draper, Dan Gailey, Paul Popiel, and Margaret Marco.

As a performer he has performed around Kansas City in the 2024 AMERI'KANA Music and Arts Festival, Manor Fest 7, Basically Basie Jazz Festival. At venues like the Kauffman Center, Union Station, Uptown Lounge, David Booth Memorial Stadium, Music Theater Kansas City, Theater Lawrence, and Liberty Hall.

Currently working on new projects and awaiting the release of KU Wind Ensemble’s 2025 recording project where he was the Principal Oboist, as well as Class 27’s upcoming 2025 debut album where he is a featured saxophone, oboe, and flute soloist.
